The Miami Heat will certainly try to lure elite talent to South Beach to compete for an NBA championship the next few seasons, after making the NBA Finals last season.

Victor Oladipo may be among the candidates if he decided to move on from the Indiana Pacers. However, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Miami Heat have their sights set on ‘bigger fish’.

“Oladipo has been connected to Miami for months now… my feel is that Miami has their eye on bigger fish. I’m not sure that the interest from Miami is as high as the interest from Oladipo.”

Oladipo came back from a serious injury last January, as he suffered a ruptured quad tendon injury in his right knee back in the 2018/19 season.

He averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists, shooting 39.4% from the field in 19 games for Indiana last season.
