George Karl praised NBA All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony, calling him “one of the best players the Denver Nuggets ever had”.

Karl called out the Nuggets for leaving Anthony out of their All-Time list.

“Carmelo is one of the best scorers in the history of the game. He is one of the best players the Denver Nuggets ever had. His jersey should hang in the rafters in Denver. And he should be celebrated in the Hall of Fame when he is done. Debate everything else,” the legendary coach tweeted.

Anthony was selected third overall by the Nuggets in the 2003 NBA Draft. He remained with the team until 2011 and made the Nuggets a title contender.
