ALBA Berlin survived CSKA’s explosive offense to walk off as winners in dramatic fashion in Moscow (88-93). In a close-contested game, the Berliners made a charge early in the fourth quarter to lead in double-digits (67-77) and claim an important win away from home.

Mike James’ and Will Clyburn’s heroics were not enough for the team in ‘Red and Blue’, as CSKA conceded its second loss in the first four rounds.

ALBA claimed its first victory ever against the EuroLeague giants. Simone Fontecchio led the visitors with 20 points, followed by 15 from Maodo Lo.

Luke Sikma added an all-around performance with 11 points, nine rebounds and five assists. For Dimitris Itoudis’ team, Mike James had 27 points, while Will Clyburn continued his hot shooting by registering 25 points.
