Doc Rivers opened up about his cooperation with Elton Brand in the Philadelphia 76ers and what his goal is for the GM of the team.
Rivers said his target is to help Brand become the best GM in all sports.
“When I leave this place, and decide to go off to some far away golf course, my goal is for it to be said that Elton Brand is the best GM in sports.
[In the NBA] we don’t have a lot of Black GM’s, or Black front office people. If he’s successful, then someone else can be,” Rivers said, via NBA.com.
Rivers and Brand also have another target on their mind, to make the Sixers a top title contender.
