Anthony Davis jokes he won’t go back to Disney World for “at least two years”

It’s safe to say that Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis wants no part of Disney World after spending three months in the Orlando bubble.

Davis made a virtual appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was asked by Kimmel if he thinks that he would return to the theme park.

“Probably not. Not for at least two years,” Davis replied. “We even talked about boycotting playing the Orlando Magic for a while.”

Davis also mentioned that the best part about being out of the bubble was being able to sleep in his own bed.

“That’s the first thing everybody did when they got home, they just went in and laid in the bed for hours,” he said. “Being able to be home and move freely without wearing masks or worrying about somebody getting tested or anything like that. So we’re able to be in our own homes and be back with our families and get some sleep in our own beds.”

Davis, who averaged 25.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, can become a free agent this offseason, but he is expected to remain with the Lakers and pursue another championship with LeBron James.

“I’m a champion,” Davis said after winning the title. “When I got traded, that’s all I wanted was to be a champion, to be able to compete, be able to win. I was able to do that my first year with the Lakers.”
