LeBron James winning his fourth NBA title with a third different team changes nothing in the GOAT debate, according to sports analyst Chris Broussard. It only kept the debate alive which would have ended had James not won a ring this season.

To him Michael Jordan is still number one. That is because of the dominance that the six-time NBA champion was able to put on the court, winning two three-peats in seven years.

On the other hand, LeBron, who played in ten NBA Finals during his 17-year career and won four titles, was never as dominant.

“I still have Jordan No. 1, and LeBron No. 2. Jordan dominated the NBA like LeBron hasn’t. MJ had two 3-peats in 7 years. Everyone else who has stepped on the planet has one 3-peat in 54 years. … Jordan does not have a weakness,” Broussard said on First Things First.
