Boston Celtics’ Enes Kanter is likely to test the free agency market in the upcoming offseason, according to Jay King and Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

The big man from Turkey inked a two-year $10 million contract last summer, which includes a player option in the second year.

Kanter was reduced to a back-up role in Boston as Robert Williams and Daniel Theis shared the most minutes in the center position.

The veteran center played 58 games for the Celtics in the regular season averaging 8.1 points and 7.4 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game.

Those numbers went down in the postseason where Kanter averaged 4.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in nine minutes per contest.
