After the Los Angeles Lakers secured their 17th title, the LA franchise tied the Boston Celtics for the most championships in the history of the NBA with 17.

Rajon Rondo is just the second player that can claim he helped both franchises achieve such an accomplishment. Rondo was a crucial part of the Celtics 17th championship back in 2008. Rondo is the first player to accomplish such a fit with the Lakers based in Los Angeles.

The first player to win a title in Celtics and Lakers uniform was Clyde Lovellette, per Sam Quinn of CBS Sports.  He won his first championship with George Mikan and the Minneapolis Lakers in 1954, and then won two more titles alongside Bill Russell on the Celtics in 1963 and 1964.

With Rondo being part of two championship squads in two of the most important NBA franchises, the veteran guard could easily make the case for having a Hall of Fame resume at his disposal.

Rondo had an incredible Game 6, where he posted 19 points shooting 70+ percent from the field and the three-point line.
