The Los Angeles Lakers swingman Danny Green opened up about his missed three-pointer in the last seconds of Game 5 between the Lakers and the Heat.

Danny Green’s missed shot was a factor, but was not solely the reason for the Lakers’ defeat. Fans crossed the line by sending threats against the Lakers’ guard forward and his fiancee.

“I just block, ignore. I’ve gotten so many messages, I can’t even hit the delete all button. I just don’t read them,” Green said. “She doesn’t get as many and she doesn’t have as many followers, so she can probably see more of it.

“You’re going to make some, you’re going to miss some. It’s part of the game. I’ve been in that situation plenty of times; I’ve made some, I’ve missed some. Unfortunate for us it was to close out the series.

“Like I said, it’s a good look. I’ll take that look any other day. Obviously you grow more with mistakes and losses,” Green continued.

The Lakers will have the chance to close out the series tonight, but the Miami Heat have proved they will not go out without a fight.
