Joffrey Lauvergne of Zalgiris Kaunas had to miss the game against Khimki after testing positive for the coronavirus. However, it seems it was a false positive as happens often.

The 29-year-old French forward took to Twitter to announce that he took three tests in 24 hours, two of which were negative. He will be able to re-join his Zalgiris teammates now.

“After being tested positive on Wednesday, I was tested on Friday and Saturday and both tests came back negative,” Lauvergne tweeted.

Without him, Zalgiris won the road game against Khimki. The Russian side was without nine players due to various reasons.
