Jay Williams shared his thoughts on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers losing to the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals (111-108).
The NBA analyst criticized James for not taking the game-winning shot and instead passing to wide-open Danny Green, who missed the three-pointer.
“Yes Danny Green was open but I don’t care what no one says… Bron needed to shoot that shot. PERIOD,” Williams tweeted.
James and the Lakers had the chance to close out the series and win the title, yet they saw Jimmy Butler and the Heat earn the win and remain alive in the series.
Los Angeles still leads the series (3-2). Game 6 is on Sunday.
