The Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler went off with another triple-double as he had 35 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists to help his team defeat the Los Angele Lakers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
When asked why he thought he was able to continually produce such performances in the Finals, Butler said he is just doing what he is expected to by his team.
“That’s what my team asked of me. That’s what they needed me to do. I think coach Pat and coach Spo brought he here for that reason. To help us win games. I have to continue to do that for two more games,” Butler said.
“I know that I’m capable of it. But I got a hell of group of guys around me that made my job a lot easier. I’m fortunate for those guys because when I’m passing they make shots. When I get beat going to the rim, they’re there. So we’re in this thing together.”
