The NBA is planning to remove ‘Black Lives Matter’ messages on the courts during the 2020/21 season.

The Commissioner of the league Adam Silver confirmed the news, while speaking to FOX Sports.

“My sense is there’ll be somewhat a return to normalcy, that those messages will largely be left to be delivered off the floor, and I understand those people who are saying ‘I’m on your side, but I want to watch a basketball game,'” Silver said on ESPN’s NBA Countdown.

The NBA plans to start the new season in January of 2021.
