The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis could win his first NBA championship tonight if his team wins Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.
According to Davis, the Lakers want to finish the series tonight and are in the right mindset to do that. “It’s going to be a tough. Every game presents a new challenge. Every game is the toughest,” he told Allie Clifton of Spectrum SportsNet.
“We know they’re the same, don’t quit. They’re not going away. They’ve already proved that we can be beaten. They present a different challenge for us with their different lineups. It’s going to be a tough Game 5.
“Obviously, it’s a closeout game for us. We want to finish it off. They don’t. So that always makes it a little bit tougher on us. Our minds are ready. Our mindset is great. We respect this opponent a ton.”
