Miami Heat forward Jae Crowder will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he has no intention of looking elsewhere to play.

“Hopefully we can work something out,” Crowder said. “It’s enjoyable because we’re winning. Last two teams standing. It’s been a great, great organization to be a part of.”

With the Heat hoping to save 2021 cap space to land a star free agent, they will likely extend a one-year offer to Crowder that could include a team option for 2021-2022, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

Crowder is coming off a five-year, $35 million contract he signed with the Boston Celtics back in 2015.

The 30-year-old was acquired by the Heat at the trade deadline from the Memphis Grizzlies along with Andre Iguodala and Solomon Hill, which proved to be a significant deal.

Crowder emerged as a key contributor in the Heat’s starting lineup, averaging 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 19 playoff games this season.
