It is his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis is already playing in his first NBA Finals. The stage is different in Los Angeles with much more attention from the media and the expectations are very high as well.

After the Lakers won Game 4 against the Miami Heat, Davis talked about how LeBron James and Rajon Rondo helped him adjust to the new situation in LA.

“Bron and Doe have been the two guys that have been to my ear a lot throughout these playoffs. These guys have been here. Bron’s been here numerous times. And Doe has been here as well. Those two guys have been in my ear just helping through my journey. First time here. Playing on the big stage in LA,” AD said.

“Those two guys have been very helpful to me just keeping me in the moment, not looking too far ahead. When I’m plying bad not getting down, body language, being a leader. All these things. The credit goes to them of a success that I’m having individually. Without them I don’t know where I’d be. Those two guys have been on my shoulders about almost anything you can think of trying to help me become a champion.”
