The Denver Nuggets have a very good chance of re-signing Jerami Grant, according to Mike Singer of The Denver Post. Grant is expected to opt out of his $9 million player option this offseason.
According to Singer, the Nuggets and Grant could possibly “reach a deal somewhere in the neighborhood of four years for $64 million”.
The Nuggets’ forward will become an unrestricted free agent. Denver acquired Grant from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for a 2020 first-round pick last offseason.
He exceeded the expectations registering career-highs in almost every major statistical category during the 2019-2020 season. Grant averaged 12 points, 1.2 assists and 0.7 steals per game with the Nuggets this season.
