Jimmy Butler had an impressive Game 2 performance against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, that was not enough for the Miami Heat, who have to figure out a way to become even more competitive in the NBA Finals.

After the end of the Finals’ game, the Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra spoke on Butler’s game and how he has to get to another level in order for his team to compete.

According to Jared Weiss of The Athletic:

“He is a supreme competitor. You can’t define him by any analytic or view of basketball, because he is going to compete… He is going to have to get to another level. That’s the deal, and he loves that challenge.”

The veteran superstar went on to nearly recording a triple-double with 25 points, 13 assists and 8 rebounds in Game 2 114-124 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
