Steve Kerr shared his thoughts on Doc Rivers becoming the new head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers.
The head coach of the Golden State Warriors was excited about Rivers signing with a top team in the NBA.
“I’m excited for Doc and for the Sixers. He’s a great coach and great for the league. I’m happy he’s quickly back in the NBA,” Kerr said, via Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Rivers parted ways with the Los Angeles Clippers after seven years as head coach.
He will now join the Sixers on a five-year deal, with the goal to leading the team to the title.
