Goran Dragic would be a huge loss for the Heat

Goran Dragic has had an excellent postseason, but he may have to miss the remainder of the NBA Finals after reportedly suffering a plantar tear in his left foot.

He earned back his job as starting point guard this postseason and has averaged 19.9 points per game. He has also averaged 4.6 assists per game, which is tied for the most on the team.

While a return hasn’t been ruled out, Dragic certainly wouldn’t be 100 percent if he plays. Miami will likely have to pay without a true point guard if he is unable to return.

Game 1 was disastrous for the Heat as Jimmy Butler rolled his ankle and Bam Adebayo reaggravated a nagging shoulder injury. Butler is expected to play in Game 2, but it’s unlikely that Dragic or Adebayo will be able to.

The Heat will have to play much better to avoid going down 0-2 in the series. Game 2 is tomorrow night so there isn’t much time for their stars to rest and recover.
