Chris Bosh opened up about LeBron James facing the Miami Heat and Pat Riley in the 2020 NBA Finals.

Bosh and James were teammates for four years in the Miami Heat (2010-2014), reaching four straight NBA Finals and winning the title twice (2012, 2013).

In 2014, though, James decided to return to Cleveland and Riley, the president of the Heat, was upset about that.

In an interview with Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Bosh called the 2020 NBA Finals clash between James and the Heat “fascinating”.

“Just kind of the storyline, it’s fascinating and it’s really, really interesting. I’m really excited just to see some great basketball. That makes for some emotions going crazy, and that’s what’s going to be fun about it.

I can’t wait to see how they handle everything and really what happens. We play this game to win. We don’t play to be in second place. You play to get a ring, you know. That’s what it is.

Being in the league for all those number of years, you’re going to play your friends, your enemies, your coworkers, your former boss, everything. So it’s important to both [James and Riley]. Don’t get it twisted,” Bosh said.

Game 1 between the Lakers and the Heat is on Wednesday.
