French point guard prospect Killian Hayes has revealed some information about his pre-draft meetings and what teams he has interviewed with.

The 19-year-old confirmed that he has met with the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors and today, he had a Zoom call with the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards.

Hayes interviewed with the Knicks before the draft lottery.

He has known Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina for a long time and has asked him about what it takes to stay in the NBA, according to Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic.

“It would be dope,” Hayes said, regarding playing with Ntilikina.

Hayes was also told by his agent to expect to go between No. 2 and No. 8 or No. 10. on draft night.

Regarding the Warriors, Hayes said, “Playing with them [Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green] would be real fun.”

It would be a question of whether Hayes could fit in with the Wizards backcourt of Bradley Beal and John Wall.

“They already have two guards, so it doesn’t make sense to go with another guard,” Hayes previously said about the Cleveland Cavaliers, who drafted Collin Sexton and Darius Garland in the last two years.

However, Hayes was asked about playing both guard positions in a question surrounding the Wizards.

“I can play the one or the two, it doesn’t really matter. I feel I can be effective at both positions,” Hayes said. “But this year, I really felt comfortable as the point guard.”

He said he is continuing to work on coming off screens and moving without the ball in order to stay in the right position for the offense to flow.
