Erik Spoelstra praised his players for their performance in Game 6 against the Boston Celtics, which helped the Miami Heat advance to the NBA Finals.

The head coach of the Heat saw his players close out the series (4-2) and lead the team back to the Finals for the first time since 2014.

“This group more than anything, they just love to compete. We didn’t come this far just to celebrate this,” Spoelstra told reporters after Game 6.

The Heat will now face the Los Angeles Lakers, who return to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

Game 1 is on Wednesday.
