Jayson Tatum was asked about his contract extension talks after the Boston Celtics got eliminated by the Miami Heat in the ECF.

“We just lost. I’m just thinking about the guys in that locker room,” Tatum said in the post-match media availability.

The Celtics’ All-Star had an incredible year in Boston becoming the first option of Brad Stevens’ offense. Tatum will be eligible for a rookie contract scale extension, whenever the next season begins.

The Celtics’ superstar averaged 25.7 points, 10 rebounds and five assists per contest in the 2020 NBA playoffs leading the Celtics to the Conference Finals.
