Michael Malone was more than satisfied with the Denver Nuggets’ run in the 2020 NBA playoffs.
The Nuggets returned to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009, but were eliminated by the Lakers (4-1).
“What more could you ask for? You’d be hard pressed to find a better story. I think this series was a hell of a lot closer than the 4-1 would indicate,” Malone told reporters, via Mike Singer of the Denver Post.
The Nuggets came back twice from 3-1 down in the 2020 NBA playoffs, eliminating the Utah Jazz (first round) and the Los Angeles Clippers (semifinals).
