LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to the 107-117 victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals and made history.

James helped the Lakers close out the series (4-1) and advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

This will be the 10th appearance in the NBA Finals for James, who becomes just the fourth NBA player to reach this number.

Only Bill Russell (12), Sam Jones (11) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (10) have made the same accomplishment.

James has missed the NBA Finals only once since 2011.

James and the Lakers will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals series between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.
