CJ McCollum made a comparison between his teammate in the Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard and Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.
More specifically, McCollum compared Butler’s leadership approach to that of Lillard.
“Everyone doesn’t respond the same when they’re challenged by a teammate! We have no problem challenging guys. The key is to back it up w/ work & allow people to challenge you too. Jimmy does both and he empowers his teammates & lets them flourish. Same thing D does,” CJ McCollum tweeted.
Butler is averaging 20.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists in the playoffs, as Miami is one win away from the NBA Finals.
