Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo was dealing with an injury in the fourth quarter of the team’s Game 4 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Adebayo was holding his wrist on several occasions after getting tangled up under the basket with Celtics’ Daniel Theis.

After the game, questions came up about what exactly happened, how serious the injury was and could Adebayo be in danger of missing Game 5 on Sept. 25?

The team never released anything official about the injury and Adebayo doesn’t seem worried that his status is in doubt, saying, “I’m good,” regarding his wrist and that he just twisted it.

The 23-year-old rising star reportedly got “dinged up” in Game 3, got it aggravated in Game 4, would receive treatment and play in Game 5, according to Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press.

Head coach Erik Spoelstra said there wasn’t a need for an update on Adebayo.

“He’ll be ready to go,” Spoelstra said, not naming any specifics about the injury. “It’s a little bit of everything. This is a physical series. He’ll be ready to go tomorrow.”

Spoelstra added that there has been no MRI or X-ray and that Adebayo only did film today.

Adebayo reached a milestone in Game 4, recording his fifth career 20-point double-double in the playoffs.

He now only trails LeBron James (11) and Shaquille O’Neal (6) on the list with the most 20-point double-doubles in the playoffs in franchise history.
