After playing four seasons in the NBA, big man Dragan Bender has signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Bender will reportedly replace Quincy Acy, who recently left the team.

The deal will be for three months with an option to extend it for the whole 2020-2021 season.

Bender’s contract will also give him the option to return to the NBA if an opportunity arises again in the future.

The 22-year-old has history with Maccabi, as he previously spent two seasons with the team from 2014-2016.

In 187 career NBA games with the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors, Bender averaged 5.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

He signed two 10-day deals with the Warriors and played nine games before the NBA hiatus, averaging 9.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Bender will join former Cleveland Cavaliers center Ante Zicic, who signed with Maccabi last month.
