Anthony Davis yells “Kobe” after hitting a game-winning shot against Nuggets

Anthony Davis went berserk in the Lakers’ 105-103 Game 2 victory against the Denver Nuggets. The superstar big man put up 31 points and nine rebounds and scored the last ten points down the stretch for L.A. Additionally, with the game on the line, down by one with less than three seconds left, it was Anthony Davis who also knocked down the game-winner.

A few moments after the game, people started to realize something even crazier about Davis’ ridiculous game-winner. He was caught saying “Kobe” after the shot, in honor of the late Kobe Bryant. It was only right, as the Lakers were dressed in there all-black Mamba jerseys in salute to the Mamba.

It is becoming apparent that the Lakers not only want this championship for themselves and the city of Los Angeles, but also for the great Kobe Bryant, who inspired millions on and off the court.

For any naysayers, here’s Davis confirming that he yelled “Kobe”:
