Dwight Howard played just five minutes in the whole series against the Houston Rockets due to the small-ball used by the Lakers’ opponents.

But, it will be different against the Denver Nuggets. In Game 1, Howard played 16 minutes during which he collected 13 points and 3 rebounds.

After the game, the Lakers’ center talked about playing against Nikola Jokic. “He’s an awesome player. I loved watching him grow since he came into the league till now. For me as soon as I step on the court, I’m going to let him know I’m there.

“It’s nothing bad it’s just a competitive spirit inside of me. I appreciate his hard work and dedication to the game. This is a great opportunity for myself. I’m going to take advantage of any moment that I have on the floor and give my teammates and Laker Nation a 110%.”
