Goran Dragic comes up clutch against the Celtics

Goran Dragic delivered with the game on the line and he led the Miami Heat past the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Heat now lead the series 2-0.

Dragic finished the game with 25 points and five assists. With the game tied at 95 late in the fourth quarter, he drew a foul on Kemba Walker and knocked down both free throws to put Miami up by two. After the Celtics failed to score on their possession Dragic delivered a dagger as he hit a difficult 3-pointer over the arm of Daniel Theis.

Dragic spent this season coming off the bench but his excellent play of late has earned him a spot in Miami’s starting lineup and it has paid off for them. He is averaging 22.2 points per game in 11 games this postseason. He had 29 points in Game 1 of the series.

Miami has now won 10 of their 11 postseason games this season. They will look to take commanding 3-0 in the series on Saturday in Game 3.
