The New Orleans Pelicans’ guard Lonzo Ball talked on the advantage his brother LaMelo has in contrast with him ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Ball spoke with ESPN’s Malika Andrews on the edge LaMelo has entering the NBA.

“He’s in the same spot I was four years ago,” Ball said of LaMelo. “The only thing now is he is much more knowledgeable than I was. All the failures and negative stuff that I’ve been through, he’s already seen it and already knows about it. He knows the answers to the test before he even went into the class.”

Lonzo was picked by the Los Angeles Lakers as the No.2 pick of the 2017 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Pelicans two years later being one of the key pieces of the Anthony Davis’ blockbuster trade.

This year’s draft will take place on Nov. 18 with LaMelo Ball being one of the highly anticipated prospects of the 2020 class.
