ASVEL is the first team reaching the final in Euroleague’s preseason tournament in Valencia after defeating Olympiacos, 74-57. Coach Bartzokas and his players had a poor offensive performance (1/14 3pts, 7.1%) without being able to move the ball properly and play the fast-paced basketball they want. Despite their strong and promising start with Kostas Sloukas and Giorgos Printezis (0-6), Olympiacos couldn’t find the way to ASVEL’s basket and break the tough full-court pressure the French club was putting.

Freeman was the top scorer for ASVEL with 14 points with Norris Cole and Moustapha Fall adding 12 each. For Olympiacos, Octavius Ellis scored 12 points with Hassan Martin adding 10 points with 10 rebounds.
