Jeremy Lin decided to leave China and the Beijing Ducks in order to pursue a comeback in the NBA.

Lin announced his decision via a video on the Chinese media platform Weibo.

“This decision has really been the hardest in my life. Every morning I would wake up at 4 am or 5 am, thinking, thinking and thinking all the time.

In the end, although Shougang (the Ducks) has treated me incredibly well, giving me everything I wanted, in the end, I feel that I still have NBA dreams. I still have time to play (there) and I have to chase this,” Lin said, via Eurohoops.net.

Lin won the NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.

Lin averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.8 steals in the Chinese League during the 2019/20 season.
