Kevin Durant opened up about the incident with his then teammate in the Golden State Warriors Draymond Green back in 2018.

Durant and Green had a heated argument in the closing seconds of the Warriors’ overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in November of 2018.

During his appearance on J.J. Redick’s podcast, “The Old Man and the Three”, Durant said he believes the argument actually helped the two superstars grow as teammates.

“Me and Draymond, we got better after that actually. I felt like I was more locked into the team after that. I felt like he understood me more because we sat down and talked about that whole situation,” Durant said, via Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area.
