Russell Westbrook admitted he did not fully recover from the quad injury and was not at his very best during the postseason.

Westbrook, who was tested positive for the coronavirus prior to the NBA restart, missed the first four playoff games of Houston.

“It’s very frustrating. Catching COVID, I had to sit back 21 days without working out… The postseason is when you elevate your game.

I was just trying to catch a rhythm at the time. But I just got to get back to the drawing board, make sure that I get healthy. That’s most important,” Westbrook told reporters, via Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

Westbrook and the Rockets were eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals (4-1).
