Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone wasn’t impressed with comments made by Los Angeles Clippers’ Patrick Beverley about Nikola Jokic after Game 3.

“He presents the same thing Luka Doncic presents: a lot of flailing. He puts a lot of pressure on the referees to make the right calls,” Beverley responded, when asked about Ivica Zubac’s defense on Jokic and how hard it is to defend him.

“I don’t listen to Patrick Beverley a whole lot. If Kawhi Leonard was talking, maybe I would listen to it. Kawhi’s a great player. … They shot 26 free throws, we shot 10, so I’m not really sure what game Patrick is talking about or looking at, but I really don’t warrant and give too much attention to that,” Malone said when asked about Beverley’s “flailing” comment.

The Clippers lead the Nuggets 2-1 in the series and Game 4 is Sept. 9.
