Los Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley took a shot at Nikola Jokic after his team defeated the Denver Nuggets 113-107 in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The Clippers struggled to contain the Nuggets’ star as Jokic finished the game with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists.
When asked about Ivica Zubac’s defence against Jokic and how hard it is to defend him, did not praise his opponent. “He presents the same thing Luka Doncic presents: a lot of flailing. He puts a lot of pressure on the referees to make the right calls,” he said, per Ben Golliver of Washington Post.
