The head coach of the Denver Nuggets, Michael Malone, opened up about the adjustments the team should make ahead of Game 3 vs the Clippers.

Denver made key adjustments in Game 2 win on Saturday, but Malone knows the squad has to play even better in Game 3.

“We have to do a better job of handling the blitz, getting off the ball quicker, spacing the floor correctly, and making them pay. They went really small, they took Zubac out, they took Montrezl out, they put JaMychal Green at the 5, and they double-teamed him every time he touched it in the post.

It’s gonna be really important. You always want to have a 3rd scorer, whether that…is Gary Harris or Jerami Grant or it’s more by committee,” Malone told Nuggets reporters on Saturday, via Joel Rush of Forbes Sports.

The series between the Clippers and the Nuggets is tied at 1-1 and Game 3 is on Monday.
