The Los Angeles Clippers started the Western Conference semifinals with a big win over the Denver Nuggets. Led by Kawhi Leonard, who had 29 points, the Clippers crushed the Nuggets 120-97.
The game was marked by Patrick Beverley’s return to action. During 12 minutes of play, the 32-year-old point guard had 8 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
“When you out with an injury, you come back after just watching it — I’m just humbled. Just fortunate to be out there. Can’t take nothing for granted, but it was good going out there with my brothers, competing. It was fun tonight,” Beverley said postgame per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.
