Kawhi Leonard is confident about his mid range jumper and it is showing in the stats. The Finals MVP from last year almost had 30 points again as he finished Game 1 with 29 points while shooting 75.0 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three.
Leonard talked after the game about how he maintains his efficiency from the mid range:
“Just working out, working on my game, being confident in my shot, and that’s pretty much it. I pretty much focus on all the areas of my game, but I’m able to get to my spots right now and make shots.”
Kawhi Leonard is confident enough to say he will not shoot threes. He wants to dominate from mid range. As his airness did before him he is building a legendary career off of it.
