Mike D’Antoni was thrilled for Steve Nash becoming the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.
D’Antoni and Nash, who had a stellar run with the Phoenix Suns back in the mid-2000s, are very close and, naturally, the head coach of the Houston Rockets expressed his excitement for this development.
Nash signed a four-year contract with the Nets and this will be his first head coaching job.
Nash is a two-time NBA MVP and a Hall of Famer.
