The Denver Nuggets will face the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 1 of the WCF semifinals on Thursday and Michael Porter jr. is looking forward to the matchup.

The Nuggets secured their place in the semifinals by securing the win against the Utah Jazz in Game 7 of their playoff-opening series.

“Their doctors didn’t think I would play basketball again,” Porter said on Wednesday, per the Denver Post and that is the reason he is not surprised not picking him in neither the 12th or the 13th pick of the 2018 draft.

“I didn’t expect them to pick me. But I mean, it’s going to be fun to play against them, for sure.” The Nuggets’ rookie averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 boards over 26 minutes per game during his first seven postseason appearances.
