Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers is “pretty sure” that point guard Patrick Beverley will play in Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets.
However, Rivers also said he wouldn’t guarantee it, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Beverley played 20 minutes in Game 1 against the Dallas Mavericks, but hasn’t played since then due to his left calf strain.
The Clippers vs. Nuggets second round series begins Sept. 3.
The Clippers will have had three days off, while the Nuggets will only get one day off before next round.
