Mike Budenholzer opened up about the possibility of Giannis Antetokounmpo guarding Jimmy Butler.
Butler exploded in Game 1, posting a career-high 40 points, on 13/20 shooting and leading the Miami Heat to the 115-104 victory over the Milwaukee Buks.
For his part, Antetokounmpo did not ask Budenholzer to let him guard Butler, instead he said he would do whatever his coach told him to do.
“It’s certainly a consideration and discussion,” Budenholzer told reporters regarding the possibility of Antetokounmpo guarding Butler in the coming games.
Game 2 will take place on Wednesday.
