James Harden opened up about the crucial turnover Russell Westbrook made in the final seconds of Game 6 between the Rockets and the Thunder.

Harden defended his teammate, noting that Westbrook simply made the decision he felt was right.

Harden told reporters that Westbrook was set to attack the rim, based on the play that coach Mike D’Antoni had created.

“That play was for Russ to attack the basket. He attacked the basket and he made the decision he felt was open,” Harden said, via Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

OKC earned the 100-104 victory in Game 6 and forced a Game 7, which will take place on Wednesday.
