Stan Van Gundy called out Chris Broussard for urging the Portland Trail Blazers to fire head coach Terry Stotts.

Van Gundy took to Twitter to defend Stotts and ripped Broussard for his take.

“It’s time for Fox Sports Radio to dump Chris Broussard. This is just stupid. He doesn’t like the Blazers’ offense. It was the 3rd best offense in the NBA. Get a clue,” Van Gundy tweeted.

Despite the struggles, Stotts managed to lead Portland to the eighth seed in the West and a first-round playoff matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Stotts has been with the Blazers since 2012. He has guided the franchise to seven consecutive postseason appearances and a trip to the Western Conference Finals last season.

With the Blazers, Stotts is 360-288 in the regular season and 20-35 in the playoffs.
