The NBA is experiencing an unprecedented situation after players’ decision to boycott the three scheduled games for the 2020 NBA playoffs tonight.

Players moved to that direction in order to protest for the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Los Angeles Lakers followed the Bucks’ decision to not play with the governor of the organization, Jeanie Buss, supporting the players.

“I was excited to see us play – and hopefully close out our series – tonight. But I stand behind our players, today and always. After more than 400 years of cruelty, racism and injustice, we all need to work together to say enough is enough”.

The NBA, in coordination with the NBPA, postponed the three playoff games that were to be played tonight.

The NBPA is planning its next moves with the season being clearly in jeopardy and the players, rightfully so, pursuing more aggressively their goal to bring change.
