The Milwaukee Bucks decided to boycott Game 5 of the series against the Orlando Magic. This was done as a form of protest following the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Alex Lasry, the Vice-President of the Bucks’ organization, has reacted positively to the players’ protest saying he is incredibly proud of their decision.

“Some things are bigger than basketball. The stand taken today by the players and org shows that we’re fed up. Enough is enough.

Change needs to happen. I’m incredibly proud of our guys and we stand 100% behind our players ready to assist and bring about real change.”

Game 5 was set to start an hour ago with Milwaukee deciding to not play. The Magic followed having no choice, after the Bucks boycotted the game.
